Getting started

Follow these steps to sign in, join your organization, connect systems, and ship your first automation.

Access and roles

  • Owners/Admins can invite users, connect toolkits, create triggers, and promote workflows to Live.
  • Members can generate, edit, and run workflows once access is granted by the org.
  • If you do not see your org, ask an admin to invite you or switch orgs from the user menu.

  1. Go to the Trame login page and click “Sign in with Google”
  2. Complete Google OAuth authorization if first time accessing Trame
  3. After authentication, use the organization selector to pick your workspace
  4. Your session remembers the last organization you used for convenience
  5. If you’re blocked at sign-in, you may not be invited to any organizations—ask an existing member to invite you

Authentication Details

  • Google OAuth Only: Sign in with Google; no username/password option
  • Organization-Based Access: Access is controlled through organization membership
  • Session Management: Sessions persist securely across browser sessions
  • Multi-Organization Support: Switch between organizations using the sidebar selector

Connect systems

  1. Open Connectors in your org workspace.
  2. Choose the toolkits you need (e.g., Gmail, Slack, CRM/ERP) and complete the consent flow.
  3. Successful connections show as Connected; if you see Needs attention, reconnect or ask an admin to refresh credentials.

Create your first workflow

  1. Navigate to WorkflowsCreate Workflow.
  2. Describe your bottleneck in plain language (e.g., “Invoices stall waiting for approvals”).
  3. Review the generated draft: goal, steps, required connectors, and any detail requests (IDs, URLs, emails).
  4. Fill in required details, adjust steps, and save. Workflows start in Draft.

Test, then go live

  1. Run the workflow manually from its detail page to verify steps and outputs.
  2. If human oversight is needed, keep it in Draft or Pilot so runs wait for approval.
  3. When you’re ready, switch status to Live to allow immediate execution from triggers or manual runs.
